Over the years, I have witnessed countless people delivered and healed from many kinds of bondages, ranging from addictions to serious diseases. Just today, I heard from a father whose son was once addicted; not only is his son now completely free, but he has also been healed of a severe heart condition. I could share stories for hours about victories over what once seemed like hopeless situations. The battle with demons always begins in the mind, through believing their lies. They gain access by planting thoughts, and when those lies are accepted as truth, it gives them advantage. They try to convince us that we are justified in unforgiveness, that we deserve revenge, and that we are alone or misunderstood.
I have seen lives completely destroyed by believing what demons placed in their minds. The apostle Paul instructs us to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and it is worth remembering that nearly one third of Jesus’ ministry involved dealing with demons. If it was important then, it is just as important now. I have seen tens of thousands of lives transformed through deliverance and have witnessed undeniable miracles in the holy name of Jesus.
